All of the rooms are individually and uniquely decorated. The Bushman room (10) remembers the little hunter gatherers who had lived in the area undisturbed for centuries before the advent of 1860s settlers. Being in harmony with the environment and nature, the Bushmen could not conceive the concept of ownership, thus creating conflict with stockowners which proved to be fatally propblematical. The Indian Room (17) recognizes the original Indian Settler Community in Nottingham Road. The Mathew Taylor Room (18) is situated at the west end of the original Taylor homestead built by him in the 1860s.
