Tintswalo Safari Lodge comprises of seven luxurious suites individually decorated in the style of nineteenth century explorers.  Baker Suite - This suite has a romantic feel. Kingsley Suite - A twin or double suite. Livingston Suite - A twin or double traveller suite. Burton Suite - A richly decorated twin or double suite. Speke Suite - A spacious suite. Stanley Suite - Beautifully appointed double suite. Baines Suite - This suite is the Presidential and accommodates four guests.  Named after some of the most famous European pioneers, the atmosphere is reminiscent of those times. Each room enjoys a private plunge pool and deck overlooking a seasonal river where a variety of game comes to water daily. The Manor House is a luxury home from home ideally suited for families as well as small groups. This house can only be taken on an exclusive use basis, for a minimum of four people. The house sleeps ten guests in ultimate comfort, and private chef and butler are on hand to cater for every need.

The area has a sub-tropical climate (warm, rainy summers and dry, cooler winters). Children of all ages are welcome to stay at the Presidential suite (when taken exclusively) and the Manor House. They may also stay at the main safari lodge, but also only when it has been taken exclusively. Children under 12 are permitted on game drives, but children under the age of 16 are not allowed on walks. A special programme is on offer to children of all ages. Tintswalo is a malaria region, therefore all visitors must consult their doctors about a malaria prophylactic.
