Day 1
You will be met upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport by an African Exclusive Travel representative, who will assist with your luggage, and transfer to your hotel in the Cape Town City Bowl area. Your rental car will be delivered to your hotel this afternoon so you can explore the highlights of Cape Town at your leisure.

Day 4
From Cape Town today, you will venture out to the true Winelands area of the Cape: Franschhoek. The quant, main street, lined with galleries, award winning restaurants and bistros, coffee shops and antique shops gives this town a sense warmth and welcoming to every visitor.

Day 6
Route 62 will pace your to trip to Oudtshoorn today. In the heart of the Karoo, Outshoorn is best known for the many Ostrich breeding and show farms, and the Cango Caves. The Surrounding mountain ranges shelter this arid region, clearly distinguished from the lush winelands of before and leafy Garden Route, which lies ahead.

TIP: Thylistshia Villa is a working Ostrich Farm, so don’t expect a fancy hotel, but rather a traditional farmhouse, with genuine, homespun hospitality!

Day 7
Over the mountain pass to the Garden Route today: This area has rich woodlands and forest regions conjoined by big lakes and lagoons, and secluded beaches. The marine life along this stretch of coastline is abounding, and your guesthouse in Plettenberg Bay offers spectacular views of the ocean and prestige Robberg Beach and Robberg Nature Reserve.

Day 10
A very undemanding drive from Plettenberg Bay leads you to your Eastern Cape Safari lodge near Addo Elephant National Park today. You should aim to arrive in time for lunch. Africa’s abundant wildlife is without a doubt the main attraction at Nguni River Lodge. Your game drives are taken on open land rovers and bush walks led by professional game guides offer close encounters with the Big 5 and hundreds of smaller mammal, birds, reptile, amphibian and vegetation species.

Day 12
After your morning game drive and breakfast, you will depart from the Game Lodge for Port Elizabeth, where you will need to drop off your rental car at the Airport.
