The fair Cape offers a plethora of activities and highlights enough to keep you busy and running around for days, but it’s the beauty that is worthy of indulgence. Take a journey to the countryside of the Cape, away from the hustle and bustle, and breath in the fresh air, taste the wines, take the walks, watch the whales, and relax…

Day 1
You will be met upon arrival at Cape Town International Airport by an African Exclusive Travel representative, who will assist with your luggage and transfer to Constantia, for check in to your winelands Hotel.
Constantia Uitsig is located on a working wine estate, surrounded by vineyards, within close proximity to many other estates, and home to one of the world’s top restaurants, La Colombe. Your rental car will be delivered to your hotel this afternoon, and you can explore at leisure.

3 x Overnights at The Constantia Uitsig hotel on a bed & breakfast basis

Day 4
Today you will drive out towards Wellington, a remote winelands region, which is home to one of the most unique country getaways. Bartholomeus Klip farmhouse, located on a 16000 hectare private reserve, is rich in natural fynbos, and home to over 500 head of game, which you can enjoy on game drives, visit on mountain bikes, or on foot. It is a working farm, so activities, should you wish to participate, include sheep shearing, and conservation projects on the reserve include the reintroduction of the geometric tortoise, breeding of disease-free buffalo, and the revolutionary attempt to re-breed the extinct quagga, a zebra-like animal with no stripes on its rump and legs. The food, however, is Bartholomeus Klip’s biggest attraction!

2 x Overnights at Bartholomeus Klip on a fully inclusive basis (all meals and activities)

Day 6
After a scrumptious breakfast, you are geared to venture to the traditional Cape Winelands, for a day of wine tasting or pampering! Klein Genot, located in the Franschhoek valley, offers unique spa treatments within this tranquil environment. Just to be able lie on your hammock on your deck, eat the sun-ripened fruit from the surrounding trees, watching the swans swim by on the placid estate’s lake, reflecting the surrounding mountain ranges, is the start the good life at Klein Genot!

2 x Overnights at Klein Genot on a bed & breakfast basis

Day 8
A quiet drive along Route 62 is enough to sooth any soul! Mardouw Country House, near Swellendam, is a wine and Olive farm, offering amicable mountain walks, mountain biking, a golf driving range, and is a bird-watchers paradise.

2 x Overnights at Mardouw Country House on a Dinner, Bed & Breakfast basis

Day 10
