Day 1
Upon arrival in Johannesburg, you will be met by an African Exclusive representative, who will assist with your check in at the Federal Air counter for your direct charter flight to the Madikwe Airstrip. You will be met by your ranger at the airstrip, and transferred in a 4x4 vehicle to the lodge for check in. The rest of the day will be at leisure until you join the evening game viewing drive.

What Happens on Safari?
Safaris take place each morning and evening in open Land rovers, which drive through a wide variety of habitats, allowing you to view the vast interactions of the wild. Day 5
After your morning game viewing activity, you will return to the lodge for breakfast and some time at leisure to freshen up and pack, before being transferred to the lodge airstrip for your flight back to Johannesburg.

TIP: The Eastern and Western parts of Madikwe offer completely different topography and game viewing experience, so if time allows, we recommend you spend 2 nights on each side of the reserve.
