Five Countries Safari Travel Package

When planning a trip to Africa, your first thoughts are SAFARI! Southern Africa has some of the best game viewing locations in the world, and this tour offers the ultimate safari circuit within the 5 neighbouring countries: Zimbabwe, Botswana, Namibia, Zambia and South Africa!

TIP: This itinerary only comprises of a 10-night stay, so please contact us for a tailor-made itinerary to extend in the areas of your preference.

Day 1
Upon arrival in Johannesburg, you will be met by an African Exclusive representative, who will assist with your check in for your flight to Victoria Falls Airport, Zimbabwe. You will be collected upon arrival at Victoria Falls Airport and transferred to your hotel for check in.

2 x Overnights at The Victoria Falls Safari Lodge on a bed & breakfast basis

Day 2
During your stay you will have the opportunity to participate in a guided tour of The Falls as well as a sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi river, where you are sure to see many hippos, crocodiles, elephants coming down to drink, and abundant birdlife.

Day 3
You will be collected from the lodge this morning, and transferred to Kasane (clearing immigration en route) for your light aircraft flight to the Camp Okavango private airstrip in The Delta, Botswana. Activities in The Delta include motor boat rides, or mokoro (dug our canoe) trips as well as walking safaris on the various islands, accompanied by your experienced, professional ranger, and in some areas which aren’t permanent water regions, 4x4 game drives are also offered.

2 x Overnights at Camp Okavango on a fully inclusive basis (all meals and game viewing activities)

Day 5
After you morning game viewing activity, and breakfast, you will be transferred (by air) back to Kasane for your boat transfer across the Chobe River to your lodge on the Namibian side of the river. You will need to visit the immigration office on riverbanks before your check in at Chobe Savanna Lodge.

Chobe Savanna lodge is located on the remote Puku Flats of the Caprivi strip, further down the river from the other Botswana Chobe lodges, so you have a more remote, exclusive experience of the chobe region. Game viewing activities here are all water-based, and you will have a choice of boat excursions, which are ideal for close up encounters with the wildlife along the rivers edge. Fishing (catch and release) for bream and tigerfish, or special cultural village visits to one of the surrounding local communities, are among the top highlights when visiting this region as well.

2 x Overnights at Chobe Savanna Lodge on a fully inclusive basis (all meals and game viewing activities)

Day 7
Ferry transfers from Kasane’s Kazungula boarder will take you to the Zambian shores, where your road transfer will be waiting to take you to Livingstone. An opportunity to see The Victoria Falls from both sides of the banks is very unique, and you will certainly be aware of certain cultural and behavioural differences between the locals when staying on the Zambian Side of the Falls, only a few minutes away from Zimbabwe.

1 x Overnight at the David Livingstone Hotel on a bed & Breakfast basis

Day 8
Due to the connection times of the flights from Victoria Falls/ Livingstone back to Johannesburg, you will need to overnight before your trip to the Kruger.

1 x Overnight at the Intercontinental Airport Sun Johannesburg on a Bed & Breakfast basis

Day 9
After you breakfast this morning you will need to take short walk across the road to the departure terminal of O.R. Tambo Airport, where you will meet your Federal Air Representative, who will assist with your check in and transfer to the hanger for your departure flight to Kruger. You will be met by your ranger at the Lodge airstrip, and transferred in a 4x4 vehicle to the lodge for check in, in time for lunch. The rest of the day will be at leisure until you join the evening game viewing drive.

2 x Overnights at Hamilton’s Tented Safari Lodge on a Fully inclusive basis (all meals and game viewing activities)

What Happens on Safari?
Safaris take place each morning and evening in open Land rovers, which drive through a wide variety of habitats, allowing you to view the vast interactions of the wild. After breakfast, guests keen to participate on guided walking trails can experience the natural environment on foot. See our quintessential safari itinerary.

Day 11
After your morning game viewing activity, you will return to the lodge for breakfast and some time at leisure to freshen up and pack, before being transferred to the lodge airstrip for your return flight to Johannesburg’s O.R. Tambo Airport.
