Vic Falls & Chobe Splendour Travel Package

Chobe is most well known for the huge numbers of elephant herds – the largest elephant population in Africa, and being only 90 minutes from Victoria Falls, these two destinations compliment each other well within one itinerary. The Chobe River attracts phenomenal amounts of African Fish Eagles, and your river cruises will give you the opportunity to photograph these creatures close-up.

Day 1
Upon arrival in Johannesburg, you will be met by an African Exclusive representative, who will assist with your check in for your flight to Victoria Falls Airport. You will be collected upon arrival at Victoria Falls Airport and transferred to your hotel for check in.

Day 2
During your stay you will have the opportunity to participate in a guided tour of The Falls as well as a sunset cruise on the mighty Zambezi river, where you are sure to see many hippos, crocodiles, elephants coming down to drink, and abundant birdlife.

TIP: The colonial Victoria Falls hotel, teaming with old-world charm, is THE place to enjoy afternoon high tea. From Stanley’s Terrace, where a traditional high tea is served daily, your view overlooks the lily pond and gardens, with the spray of The Falls and Batoka Gorge forming the perfect backdrop in the distance. The hotel has its own private path to the Victoria Falls, which is less than a 10-minute walk away.

Day 3
After a leisurely breakfast this morning, and some time to pack up, you will be collected from your hotel and transferred to Chobe Chilwero lodge in time for lunch. You will go through passport control at the Kazungula boarder post separating Zimbabwe and Botswana, before driving through Kasane to get to the lodge.

After Lunch you will have some time at leisure before boarding your afternoon Chobe River water safari. You will return to the lodge for dinner.

2 x Overnights at Chobe Chilwero Lodge on a fully inclusive basis (all meals and game viewing activities) 

Day 4
An early start this morning for your 4x4 open-sided game drive into the Chobe National Park. Elephants, buffalos, puku, antelope, lions are amongst the magnificent creature you will have the opportunity of viewing on this drive.
You will return to the lodge before lunch, where you can enjoy a refreshing dip in the swimming pool or spoil yourself with a spa treatment before leaving on your evening game viewing activity on the river.

Day 5
You will be collected from the lodge this morning, and transferred back to Victoria Falls, clearing customs en route.
