
The lodges in North Okavango, near the panhandle, tend to offer year round water activities, while those centrally located in the Moremi area offer both land and water based activities. The highlight of the water activities is to enjoy a mokoro ride – a traditional dug out canoe, where your guide takes you through the channels to view the magnificence of the delta wildlife. The lodges in the Southern Delta, close to Maun often don’t receive floodwaters until August, so activities tend to be land based.
