Timbavati/ Manyeleti Travel Information

The Timbavati Game Reserve, like The Sabi Sands, also shares a common unfenced border with the Kruger National Park, but is located further north, in a very different, more untamed vegetation area. The area is well known for large herds of buffalo and elephants and some of the largest prides of lions. The Timbavati area has quite a few tented safari camps, which really gives you a feeling of being in Africa. There is a private reserve just below the Timbavati called the Manyeleti, which are both very accessible from Hoedspruit, where the main Airline carriers land.
